  22.    Since it is VERY tricky to manually remove the Scores virus from your computer, it is STRONGLY recommended that a virus removal program be used!
  23.    If you must disinfect manually, scan the all the files on the disk, and check each file‚Äôs resources.  Delete any and all resources whose type, ID, and size match those listed in the Scores Virus Resources Card.  Delete all files whose resource forks become empty after this operation. 
  24.    If the file‚Äôs highest numbered CODE resource is numbered two more than the next highest numbered CODE resource, and if its size is 7026,  and bytes 16‚Äì23 of CODE resource 0 are 0008 3F3C nnnn A9F0 where nnnn is the number of the highest CODE resource.

  28.    Repair the infected application by replacing bytes 16‚Äì23 of CODE 0 by bytes 4‚Äì11 of CODE nnnn, then delete CODE nnnn.  
  29.    Also examine all files named Note Pad File and Scrapbook File.  If their file type is INIT or RDEV, change it to ZSYS.
